Admission- Key Dates
October 2011
Year 11 parents evening. There will be short presentations introducing the new OSCA Sixth Form and there will be an opportunity to speak to teaching staff, some of our current Sixth Form students and collect an application pack.
December 2011
Initial deadline for applications from students studying at the Academy. Applications can be made using the online application form, available on our website or using the paper based copies which are available to print online, or from the Academy reception.
January 2012
Discussion about pathway options. There will be Information and guidance interviews for all Academy students to discuss chosen course combinations and personal statement.
January – February 2012
Interviews for students applying for Sixth Form study from outside the Academy
February – March 2012
Offers of provisional places to study in the Sixth Form at the Academy.
July 2012
Induction day for Sixth Form entrants
August 2012
Examination results released
Please notethat late applications to the Academy Sixth Form will be considered right up until the start of the new academic year. However, due to the popularity of some courses, course options may be more limited than if the above deadlines are followed.
