Parent Access to Student Information

You may be aware that the government has directed that, by september 2010, all secondary schools and academies should make data for students available online for parents to access.

At Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy, due to our commitment to e-learning and investment in new technology, we can now offer you as a parent the chance to access information about your child through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). We believe that the ability to access information is crucial for you to gauge the progress that your child is making and trust that this will be a useful tool to focus conversations with them about their learning. 

Initially, you will be able to access information about attendance, behaviour, achievement, report cards, online reports and also their classes and timetable. as the system develops we will be able to add information such as homework.

We have offered this facility to all parents since September 2010 onwards with letters being be sent out to all parents, if you have not recieved a letter then please contact us on the following email address  parent.access@ormistonsandwell.org.ukand one of our staff will contact you.
