Awards
OSCA is proud of the wide variety of awards it has received over the last few years. The range of these awards demonstrate the continuous hard work by staff, students and our wider community in ensuring excellence at OSCA.
These awards, many from external and independent organisations, demonstrate the quality of provision at OSCA. The framework of these awards, and feedback from any type of assessment, is used to build on our excellent practice even further, ensuring OSCA is a place that is reflective and always driving to improve.
Any award by an external body may involve any or all the following as part of the assessment:
- providing a range of evidence
- visits to OSCA
- interviews with staff, students, governors and parents
- observation of academy events, meetings
- tours of the academy/lesson drop ins
OSCA currently holds the following awards:

Basic Skills Quality Mark (2) - Has been awarded twice in succession
Artsmark – Gold standard
Anti – Bullying Quality Mark – Bronze
